School leadership team must suppotr and lead ythis inclusive eythos – Class NOT UNIT – it has been said that perceptions of other staff as negative towards the class – NB to ensire this does not occur – every staff m,eeting Achieveements and progress are highlighted and visible in all school activities.

 

NCSE

Placement must be clear and reasons for it

Complex needs arising from autism

Child requires a special class placement.

Link in within SENO and CDNT and must be an official translation if  report is not in English.

Transport only available to nearest available class.

Wait and see what furniture etc will be required until you get to know students

Sofa, bean bag, tables, dividers, computers, case by case, portable white board

Place suitability to be kept under review.

NCSE advisor will be assigned and will visit twice to school and exceptional closure and recommendation re optimum access of courses.

Second class – new teacher is 2 day training only
