Treoirlínte don bhlag – Léigh go cúramach le do thoil

Our class blog is an opportunity for us to share what we have been learning about in class and to publish some of our work. Therefore, it is very important that we understand how to use the blog and the Internet in a secure way.

When using the blog please follow these guidelines:

1. Only use your computer name when blogging.

2. Stay safe on the web – do not reveal ANY personal information and tell an adult if you see anything on a website which you are unhappy with. Only use the internet when you have permission from an adult.

3. Always write in full sentences – no “text talk” please! Please use your excellent spellings and punctuation.

4. Please re-read your comments carefully before posting them.

5. Be polite and have good netiquette – do not post anything that could hurt anyone. Always show respect for other people’s comments and views. Remember our Granny Rule!

6. Relatives who leave comments are also asked to use their first name only or to post comments as “Tom’s Mum” or “Laura’s Grandad”.

7. All comments on this blog are approved before being published by Múinteoir Niamh.

8. Most importantly, have fun and please share our blog with your family and friends and stay positive!
