This scheme is recommended by NEPS for Irish school settings. It was developed by qualified dyslexia tutors, and was designed to help pupils to read and spell high frequency words.

The programme focuses heavily on the principle of over learning to aid pupils learning. The programme includes the following activities and more:

Anagrams of words

Crosswords with key words

Word searches with key words

Tracking activities (finding the letters of the word within a string).

Identifying missing letters within words

Look, say, cover, write, check

This programme along with other methodologies (spellcity.com)  and words which are most commonly misspelled is very effective.

The Newell programme is also widely used and a programme developed in Ireland. We have all of the related books.
