They know these sounds through Irish already but need transfer this knowledge to English.

The teachers are sending home material to use at home, play word games with your child using the letter sounds, I spy with my little eye, get them to sound out words, use the letters to play snap, bingo, pairs, reading words nonsense words and real words, let them build words and most importantly enjoy letters and reading!
